MediEvil PS4 remake sees October release date

It may be a game you’ve never played, but I’m certain the artwork is familiar. If you’re without a PS1 or PS2 then you’re in look because on 25th October you’ll be able to pickup a copy of the MediEvil remake on PS4.

The release date was announced by Sony and is being made by Sony Interactive Entertainment. A new trailer has been released highlighting updated graphics and looking at the story of the game’s protagonist, Sir Daniel Fortesque. The game is one of many 90’s remakes from the PS1 era we have seen in recent years including Crash Bandicoot and Spyro The Dragon and also releasing this year, Crash Team Racing.

The story of MediEvil follows our hero Sir Daniel who is accidentally resurrected by his enemy Zarok the sorcerer. Sir Daniel has the chance to stop his nemesis and save the kingdom of Gallowmere and in doing so will earn him great accolades which he did not have in his previous life as a pretty useless knight.

MediEvil is full of Halloween themes and hack ‘n slash gameplay that is really worth checking out on the PlayStation 4.
