25 franchises we want to see as Pop! Vinyl in 2019

Funko’s Pop! Vinyl range of figurines will be entering its 9th year of production and they announce new designs everyday. It’s incredible to think that there’s still so many characters and series/movies that they still haven’t done yet. So here are 25 different pop cultures that I’d like to see Funko visualise as Pop Vinyl this year.

Recess

The show was huge back in the day and with it being part of the Disney Channel it’s about time the gang (T.J, Ashley, Vince, Gus, Gretchen and Mikey ) were seen as figurines! Recess had a school yard full of hilarious and regular characters and so Funko wouldn’t have to stop with the main cast…surely there has to be a Miss Finster as well!

Daredevil Season 3

Now the reason for this one being on the list is simply due to the fact that Pop! Vinyl were made of the first two seasons of Daredevil and I think it’s about time that we got a Wilson Fisk one!

Beverly Hills Cop

Last year we saw a couple of Eddie Murphy’s 80’s work be turned into figurines which included the films Coming To America and Trading Places. Another film or film series’ that Murphy is well-known for from the 80’s is his role as Axel Foley in the Beverly Hills Cop movies. I could definitely imagine a figurine of him in his Chevy Nova.

The Mask

I found this one quite surprising to be honest as the look of Jim Carrey’s Mask is so iconic and certainly one of the most stand out movies in the 90’s for its animation effects and humour. Funko have yet to turn The Mask into a Pop! Vinyl figurine and obviously with some designs there is legality and licensing issues but surely we could get two figurines of Stanley and Dorian as The Mask surely and Cuban Pete?

Polar Express

If the Hogwarts train as a Pop! Vinyl looked awesome then you know the Polar Express would look fantastic! A great addition to this would be Tom Hank’s array of characters including the Conductor and the Hobo along with some delicious hot chocolate.
